okay i used my version and got it running fine, – however the speed for me in dosbox is a bit wild – goes fast and slow randomly. I would love to know your dosbox settings for this – would you be able to share these?

is this copy of UEFA 1996-1997 your own full installation? i have the disc somewhere but thought it would be easier just to run the rip version you can find on abandonware sites, however the rip version locks up and crashes after a few minutes into a match each time

This brings back a lot of memories. I created my own leagues and cups in the game, I even started a Hogwarts football league. Also, it wasn't difficult to score, you just had to shoot slightly next to the goalpost. The funny thing is I played this game when everyone around me was playing FIFA 02 and newer games.

I also remember that game, even though I couldn't play it, when I was 4-5 years old. I also remembered recreating Bayern Munich, because they weren't in that year's CL. 😀

I remember playing that when I was 9 yrs old.. I was very disappointed because I always thought it's not possible to play the real CL tournement, then after days I realised that I had to click on the big CL logo in the middle if the screen 😀
